Learning about the "Fun Stuff"

  • My tutoring/coaching services are not to replace/substitute the client’s teacher/professor/instructor, they are simply to embellish their learning skills.
  • If the client has signed up for Creative Writing Coaching, that covers: brainstorming story concepts, proofreading, plot and character development. I charge $30 for an hour of editing your work. After I have reviewed your work, we can hop on an optional thirty (30) minute Zoom call to discuss my edits & recommendations for improvement. That will be an additional $30. Otherwise, I can edit your work and you can look over my edits without a Zoom call.  
  • If the client has signed up for Editing Essays, that will cover: editing spelling and grammar, checking essay structure and formatting, and correctly citing sources. I charge $30 for an hour of editing your work. After I have reviewed your work, we can hop on an optional thirty (30) minute Zoom call to discuss my edits & recommendations for improvement. That will be an additional $30. Otherwise, I can edit your work and you can look over my edits without a Zoom call. 
  • If the client has signed up for Grammar Lessons, that will cover: Help with their English homework by increasing their grammar and spelling skills. Or if they simply want to boost their knowledge in grammar and spelling, Grammar Lessons can accommodate that too. That will be a 30 minute Zoom call which will cost $30. If you would like two (2) clients to share a Zoom call, that’ll be $45 for a thirty (30) minute call. I will not host more than two (2) clients at a time.
  • If the client requires help in a category not listed, they may notify me when they submit their work to be edited. I will do my best to accommodate them.

Missing Your Appointment

What qualifies as missing your appointment? Failing to notify me that you will be unable to attend your call within 24 hours of the appointment. 

You will NOT be marked as missing your appointment if: you contract a sudden sickness or injury, you decide to turn in the homework assignment before the optional Zoom meeting (as long as you notify me within 24 hours), or an emergency occurs. 

Payments

All Zoom meetings must be paid for upfront. You have the option to pay for each week individually or an entire month at once, whether you come weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You can pay for four (4) Zoom meetings at once or each Zoom meeting separately. 

  • Payment Methods: Stripe. Payment is due when you schedule a Zoom meeting or turn in your paperwork for edits.
  • If your appointment is excused, your payment will be used as credit for your next Zoom meeting or Edit or you can receive a refund.
  • If you fail to notify me of your cancellation within 24 hours, and your appointment has not been excused, there are no refunds or opportunities to use the payment for credit. 
  • If I am unable to make it to our appointment, you may receive a refund or use your payment as credit. 

What is Required Before Your Appointment

  • If the student’s call is in regards to additional help with their homework, I am not responsible for the grade the student receives. The student is responsible for doing their homework and if they do not understand the lesson it is their responsibility to notify me. 
  • If the client wants help with an essay, homework, or a piece of creative writing, they have to submit it when they sign up so I can review it in advance.
